CONFESSION & THEOLOGY

What We Believe

A glass of red wine placed on a wooden table with an open book in the background and a green plant in the foreground.

We are a church in Flower Mound centered on Jesus Christ and His Word, seeking to know Him and make Him known.

Our Faith

We believe the Bible is the Word of God, inspired and without error, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.

At the center of our faith is the gospel of Jesus Christ. All people are sinners in need of grace. Salvation is found in Christ alone—through His life, death, and resurrection. All who trust in Him are forgiven, reconciled to God, and given new life.

Our Theology

We are a Reformed and confessional church. Our theology is summarized in the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms.

We believe in the sovereignty of God over all things, and that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. We believe the Holy Spirit works through the Word to bring people to faith and to build up the church.

We are Covenantal — We believe the whole of Scripture tells one unified story of redemption. From the first promise of a Savior after the Fall, through God’s covenants with Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David, God has been unfolding one plan of salvation — fulfilled finally and fully in Jesus Christ. This means there has only ever been one way of salvation, in both the Old and New Testaments: by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Our Worship

We believe God has given His church a clear pattern for worship. Each Lord’s Day we gather to read Scripture, pray, sing, hear the preaching of God’s Word, and receive the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Our Church

We are part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a denomination committed to the authority of Scripture, the Reformed faith, and the Great Commission.
